Brooks Orpik is a Bad, Bad Man

Yes... Brooks Orpik is a bad, bad man. We said it! What?!

Malkin is our effin hero! If you didn't see that fight in Game 2, you are not really a Penguins fan and we don't know why you're here! Enforcer says "it made my heart warm and fuzzy". We agree and we totally love some warm and fuzzies and those other feelings you sometimes get from watching the Penguins!

We agree with other lady hockey bloggers who say Kris Letang's hair gives them the "other feelings" as mentioned in the statement above! It does it for us too!

Does anyone else feel that Fedotenko and Scuderi are under appreciated? Because we sure as heck do! Fedotenko has been a bright shining light in the playoffs and we would not be where we are without him! Shine on Fedotenko, shine on! As for Scuderi, he and Hal Gill are two of the best defensemen we have seen in this league! Hal Gill's abs should be in a league of their own! Trust us, we know... we've seen them in person! According to Guardian, they could crush an army!

Tyler Kennedy in a pair of underarmour shorts could do some harm too! We love it! We want to see more!

Did we mention Brooks Orpik is a bad, bad man!?

Can someone hit Ericsson in the side already? Who comes back from emergency surgery that quickly? It wouldn't take that much to take him back out right? Just sayin'.

As much as we would like to tie Marc Andre to some things, we think it would be good to just tie him to the net every once in a while and just let the boys shoot the pucks at him for not staying in his home! We love him, but he makes us nervous sometimes!

In case you haven't seen Sidney Crosby's butt, you should google it. I'm sure you'll find something that shows its loveliness. Wait... we found it for you! :)

Have we mentioned H.G.'s A-B's tonight? Oh yeah, just once. They need more recognition than that though, so here we are mentioning them again. We've seen them in person... they're better than David Beckham's. No shit. We aren't kidding.

We'd like some cheesecake. Is it time for that yet?!

And last, but not least... have we mentioned that Evgeni Malkin is the best Russian in the world (along with Gonchar, of course)? I mean, did you see that fight? You didn't? You need to youtube it... seriously! It wasn't like Semin playing the bongos on Marc Staal (whom we are kinda fond of, because, I mean seriously, we love the whole fam damily). Malkin actually threw punches! We love it. We love him!

Beginning at the End

So... forgive us if we seem like idiots... but we are new to this whole blogging thing.

#1 We would like to start off by saying, we LOVE some Pittsburgh Penguins hockey, but we aren't from Pittsburgh nor do we live anywhere near there. Heck, we've never even been to Pittsburgh. That doesn't mean that we can't show our love, so we dedicate 99.9% of our future blogs to Penguins hockey. If you are not interested in that, you might want to find someone else's crap to read. Go Pens!

#2 There are many off the wall comments that may occur in the middle of posts. Most may be inside jokes amongst ourselves, but if you want farther clarification, just let us know. (Warning: You may not want farther clarification. Think aboot that before asking.)

#3 We are ditching our Southern accents for the sake of hockey. We are actually from East Tennessee (hence the hockeyhicks screen name) and we are all chicks (four of us to be exact). Just think of it as a little experiment.

#4 Did I mention we love Penguins hockey? We don't appreciate slandering of any kind towards our men. Take that shit elsewhere.

#5 We are all about H.G.'s A-B's... and we will feel the need to mention them, A LOT!!!!!!

So... onto the fun stuff...

We thought Game 1 of the Stanley Cup playoffs was a bunch of poo. Our boys played well and we still love them don't get us wrong, but Detroit just really pisses us off! I mean seriously... who gives a shit about octopi?! And all that crap aboot Sid accidentally tapping that guy post-game, all we have to say is, GO SID! YOU MAKE US PROUD! WE LOVE YOU! All is well though, cause we are going to redeem ourselves tonight in Game 2.

(We're sorry that our first post is going to be short, pre-game comes on in like two minutes.)
